An O’Rourke Family Estate Wedding in Lake Country
O’Rourke Family Estate in Lake Country brings together vineyard views, Okanagan Lake and distinctive indoor reception spaces. Breanne and Josh’s wedding moved through several parts of the estate, from an outdoor ceremony and patio cocktails to dinner in the Grand Lobby and dancing in the Lower Lobby. Minted Photography captured the day.

Ceremony above Okanagan Lake
Breanne and Josh’s outdoor ceremony looked out over the vineyards and Okanagan Lake. White and soft blush florals framed the aisle, with the water and mountains beyond. I provided the ceremony audio and music for this part of the celebration.

Cocktails outdoors
Cocktail hour took place outdoors on one of the estate’s patio areas. Guests gathered under white umbrellas beside the stone terraces and broad steps, with the estate’s contemporary architecture behind them. I provided the music for this part of the day before the celebration moved indoors for dinner.

Dinner in the Grand Lobby, dancing in the Lower Lobby
Breanne and Josh hosted dinner in the Grand Lobby, then moved to the Lower Lobby for dancing. The change of spaces gave each part of the evening its own setting, from the beautifully laid tables to the dance floor.
The Grand Lobby’s timber ceiling and tall windows provided a warm backdrop for the reception. Minted’s photographs capture the room before guests arrived, along with the couple sharing a toast later in the evening. I provided reception DJ coverage and lighting as the celebration continued into the Lower Lobby.
